“I am the God of your father–the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” When Moses heard this, he covered his face because he was afraid to look at God.” Exodus 3:6 (NLT)

We are not perfect people. We know that by now. We have done things we are ashamed of. However, one thing we should remember is that our God readily provides forgiveness. In spite of all our shortcomings, He never took away the promise and the future He had planned for us. We will always have the convenience to go back to His way of doing things, if we don’t mind the inconvenience.
God, from generation to generation, introduces Himself properly and in context. God is always in context. He shows His connection to us from before and now. He will reveal to us how He has blessed us from before and now that we know Him. When He reveals Himself to us, make no mistake, we will recognize Him, and He will be known. From a dream to a burning bush to a very audible inner voice, you will know when He calls you.
“For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” Romans 11:29 (ESV)
Once our Lord reveals Himself we have no choice but to submit to the wisest decision we will ever make, accepting Him in our lives. We all have the opportunity to share who the Savior is. Let us share our testimony to a friend, how we met Christ, and how we humbly, respectfully and lovingly accepted His gift to us.
“Through him and for his name’s sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith”
Romans 1:5 (NIV)
