“Those officials of Pharaoh who feared the word of the LORD hurried to bring their slaves and their livestock inside. “
Exodus 9:20

As we read through the encounter of God vs. The Pharoah, we can see the consistent ways that God has proven who He is before the Egyptian. The request was simple, allow the Jews to worship God. However, the Pharoah after he witnessed the consequences of his pride, still defied the wishes of the Lord.
However, from plague to plague, some of the officials realized that God doesn’t fool around. He does what He says! God doesn’t commit to something, then backs down. God will do as He says. Some will enjoy the fruits of His consistency and love; some will really get lost running away, insisting that they are right, and He is wrong.
We were once Pharaohs. We saw ourselves as gods, and the only that mattered was our opinions. We saw our world crumble one by one. We considered all the answers around us. But, we ignored the one thing that was obvious. He has and will always be the answer.
Through Him, we will have a great life. There is no escaping God’s grace and His love. He speaks the truth, and by the truth (Jesus) we are saved. We realize that we have to allow God to move us out of our proud situations. Through Him, we engage and elevate our consciousness to a more spiritual and personal level of worship. And from this worship, this great declaration of how great He is in our lives, we experience His love and salvation.
Let us praise and thank our Lord, Jesus Christ. For through His word, His love, and unfailing promises our salvation is assured. Let us place Christ’s love in the center of who we are. And as we are blessed by His love, let us love others as a blessing we share.
No, I will not break my covenant; I will not take back a single word I said.
